M E M 0 R A N D U M <br />TO: Steve sarkozy <br />FROM: Bob Biers the rd <br />DATE: April 13, 1993 <br />RE: Use of Activity Center for Mail Drop <br />At the March Council-Work Session, the council requested that <br />staff review the policy of allowing community groups to use the <br />Activity center as a postal mail drop. After reviewing the <br />situation, we have outlined the following options <br />1) continue to allow all community groups to use the Activity <br />Center as a mail drop. This would include groups that have <br />a 501 3 C and use the Activity center as a meeting location. <br />2) Allow only those groups that have an official affiliation <br />with the city of Roseville* These would include those <br />groups such as youth athletic associations and other non <br />profit community recreation group providers such as the <br />Bird Club, etc . , with whom we 'jointly cooperate to provide <br />activities for the community. <br />3) Allow no groups to use the Activity Center as a mail drop, <br />I will he present at the April Work Session to provide any addi- <br />tional information. <br />
