. uuu <br />RosEVI PARKS AND RECREATION <br />SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT POLICY <br />It shall be the policy of the city of Roseville to allow Softball <br />tournaments on weekends if the following conditions are met: <br />19 The Sponsoring organization shall be a civic club or <br />committee approved by the Parks and Recreation Department. <br />2a No alcohol may be consumed at any of Roseville' s softball <br />fields, including Central park victoria and Lexington unless <br />a permit is obtained from the Roseville Parks and Recreation <br />Department for a - fee of beer may he, sc d without the <br />above permit and the approva'1 of the Roseville City Council. <br />Proof of Dramshop insurance is required to sell beer. <br />3 w A non�re fundabl a tournament reservation fee of $50 must be <br />paid at time of reservation. <br />4. A tournament fee of $200 for a one day tournament, or $300 <br />f or a two day tournament, Faust be paid one month prior to <br />date of reservation. <br />5s A deposit of $100 will be required of the tournament sponsor <br />when the tournament fee is paid to insure cleanup of all <br />fields, parking areas and parks used each day of the <br />tournament. If areas above are not Cleaned to the <br />satisfaction of the Recreation Department, the deposit will <br />be forfeited to the city s <br />6e All organizations sponsoring tournaments must provide paid <br />police protection during the entire tournament (Roseville <br />Reserve Police are the approved- security) . The Parks and <br />Recreation Department will arrange for their services . <br />7. If cancellation of tournament is necessary, notifications must <br />be made to the Recreation Department two weeks before the <br />tournament date or all moneys paid will be forfeited. ($50 <br />fee noted in #3 is non - refundable) <br />S. The Recreation Superintendent will handle the initial contact <br />of the Reserve Police but in case of emergency, contact the <br />Roseville Police Department at 484-17000 <br />9 . ' Us e of the lights requires a key. There is a $20 deposit <br />with full refund on return of the key. <br />10o A $25 fee is charged. for use of the victoria fields <br />Concession stand e (This is to be paid at the same time the <br />tournament fee is paid). Please Note .e If concession stand <br />is used, a temporary health license must be obtained frov <br />Ramsey County Health Department (no fee to non- profit groups) <br />contact them at 633-0316. <br />1 <br />
