REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATE: 12/14/92 <br />ITEM NO <br />Department Approval: Manager Reviewed* Agenda Section: <br />" !► , A Reports and ReConm'endations <br />Item Description <br />Contract Authorization for Fund Raising Services <br />EACH <br />During the initial discussions for the John lose Minnesota OVAL, a <br />concept proposal had been mentioned to raise private funding to <br />supplement appropriations by the State of Minnesota and the City of <br />Roseville. Staff has researched various options and has received a <br />proposal to raise funds for the OVAL from A %Rice evelo ment Servi es . <br />The conditions are set forth in the attached contract. <br />POLICY O JE CT <br />The proposal is consistent with the adopted city policy of having <br />prior council approval for fund raising on behalf of the City. <br />FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS <br />No city funds would be required.
