Attached a iistmg of the <br />projects recommended for Federal Funds. A total of eight 8 projects have been selected for <br />finding of the 72 project submittals. federal funding to" $1,739$76. his mpresants ever <br />progra naffing by apprao irr�ately 16%. project priorit ng was based upon criteria developed for <br />the interim p The next solicitation will incorporate changes in the criteria and rating <br />process based upon the committee's resew and evaluation. <br />rionti .ed ranking of the standard bikeway and walkway juts is attached* The committee <br />decided to group all the non - innovative projects into one category for funding purposes. The <br />projects recommended for selection are highlighted. The innovative projects were not given a <br />numerical rating. The committee spent an entire meeting disco ing the meats of each project <br />individually. iteria such as innorativeness, transferability, population served, and how well the <br />project serves a transportation purpose were discussed and evaluated by consensus. The <br />Committee attempted to fund as many innovative projects as possible. The Committee is <br />recommending that the proposer of a funded project be required to submit a report evaluating <br />the effectiveness of the 'new innovation as well as future transferability. <br />Attachments <br />
