Regular City Council Minutes — 11/17103 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 3 <br />November 24, 2003. <br />Councilmember Maschka spoke in favor of staff s draft <br />R identified as "Attachment B" in the staff report <br />dated November 17, 2003. <br />Councilmember Kough concurred with Councilmember <br />Maschka and staffs recommendation, speaking in favor of <br />the draft resolution prepared by staff for elected official <br />involvement only at this time. <br />Councilmember Schroeder, as the designated alternate <br />with Councilmember Maschka to the Ramsey County <br />discussion group, spoke i n favor of staff s <br />recommendation and draft resolution, <br />Councilmember Klausing, as a point of information, <br />questioned the preference of the Chair related to process <br />for the original motion, or if it was being withdrawn. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn determined that the motion should be <br />voted up or down to clarify the City's intent to the Ramsey <br />County Board of Commissioners. <br />I It-ri I I W, 10 W <br />Ayes: None. <br />Nays: Maschka, Schroeder, Kough, Klausing and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br />Maschka moved, Schroeder seconded, "Resolution No. <br />10162 entitled, "Resolution Supporting the Monitoring <br />and participation of an elected official of the Study of a <br />Joint Information Technology Support Entity for the <br />Benefit of Ramsey County Units of Government." <br />Councilmember Klausing sought clarification by City <br />Attorney Squires, that staff could use their discretion to <br />attend any meetings of the Study Group as deemed <br />appropriate by the elected official delegates or senior staff. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn recommended that the City Council <br />
