Regular City Council Minutes — 10/13/03 <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 2 <br />Neal Beets, urging the City Council to fire the City <br />Manager. Mr. Dame also related a story about seeking to <br />meet with the Police Chief, and about his efforts to get a <br />vehicle license at Roseville's License Center, and his <br />interaction with a Roseville Police Officer and Police <br />Sergeant. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn asked Mr. Dame for his phone <br />number. <br />Councilmember Klausing asked Mr. Dame to put his <br />complaint in writing and that City Manager Beets be given <br />an opportunity to respond. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn and Councilmember Klausing <br />discussed the issue. <br />11. Review Agenda Review <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn called for any comments or discussion on Agenda <br />the Consent Agenda. There were no comments. <br />III. Presentations <br />A. Post Employment Health Care Spending Accounts <br />Human Resources Director Eldona Bacon introduced the <br />agenda item and introduced Paige Purcell who, together <br />with Ms. Bacon, gave a Power Point presentation <br />summarizing a program offered through the Minnesota <br />State Retirement System <br />Councilmember Klausing asked about the different <br />viewpoints of differing employee groups — some wanting <br />the program and others wishing to negotiate for a different <br />program. Councilmember Klausing also asked about why <br />an employer would want to offer such programs. <br />Councilmember Schroeder asked when employees could <br />access their account. <br />Maschka moved, Kough seconded, authorizing staff to <br />prepare and initiate a contract agreement with Minnesota <br />Presentations <br />Post Employment <br />Health Care <br />Spending Accounts <br />
