Secondly,
increasing the quality of wetland will be done by increasing the capacity of the wetlands
to control flooding in the adjacent areas, and by creating buffer areas around the wetland
to increase the filtering of the water into the wetland. Mitigation of the wetland will occur
on the adjacent Country Club, once again helping the filtering and capacity of the area.
United Properties and Peterson Environmental is working on a permit for grading and
alteration of the wetlands as illustrated on the attached plans.
Each site is proposed to have its own on -site storm sewer and pond. All runoff from
paved site areas and landscape areas adjacent to the buildings are collected in the
storm sewer system and conveyed to the proposed N.U.R.P. treatment ponds located at
the southern portion of each site. A copy of the design calculations for the storm sewer
system is attached to this letter for review.
Sanitary sewer, water main and storm sewer piping are included on the Utility Plan.
United Properties and its consultants feel that the proposed plan represents a good
utilization of the site. If at anytime you have questions, please feel free to contact Brian
Carey or myself. Either one of us will be happy to assist with your review of the
proposed project in any way that we can.
