OrganizatiGnal Bus-mess Fire vehicles Fleet & Facilities Supervisor Fire Engines ## 031 & 03 Regarding fire engines 031 and 032, both are in need of major repairs. Engine ##031 has a bad motor} it has been taken to a commercial garage for repairs and it still does not run correctly. It leaks and/or barns six + quarts of oil going from city hall to fire station three on Dale Street. The remaining parts of the vehicle are in useable condition. Engine #032 2 has major problems the transmission and transmission pump are worn out and the chassis mounts are rusted or worn out, when the vehicle made turns the body would sway and bounce around making it hard to control. The city mechanics were asked if it would be feasible to try and restore one vehicle using arts from p m both vehicles. They stated it would be difficult and unsure if the parts would fit together being that they are different makes and models.
