This memo begins to analyze some of the <br />business items the Council must process before the end of the year. <br />1. Canvass the vote from the November 41h General Election: suggest special, limited - <br />purpose council meeting to do that on Thursday, November 61h at 6:00 o "clock p.m. <br />2. Hold a Truth in Taxation Hearing and Ads -t -. a, -Pinal 2004 City Budget: -su est <br />December Sth' = <br />. Certify Delinquent Utility Bills and Defer therm to the County Assessor: suggest <br />December 81h. <br />4. Hold a Public Hearing and Modify the Financial Man for TTF District # 1 (Arona) <br />suggest December 81h. <br />5. Consider land use eases that are subject to the 60 day rule: yet to be determined; <br />Dennis and Thomas are studying the docket of eases. My impression is that you will <br />have to meet at least once before the end of the year to process some land use eases. <br />This "`land use "' council meeting could probably be held on Monday, November <br />2411,-and would be in addition to the "financial"' council meeting on Monday, <br />December 811 that is sketched out in items 2, 3 and 4 above. <br />Staff will provide more information as it becomes available. <br />I <br />
