Regular City Council Minutes - 9122103 <br />DRAFT Minot - Page 3 <br />reported on the status of the construction project and the <br />bids received on finish construction work. Mr. Schwartz <br />indicated that Bid Group 42, dealing with modular <br />casework, was not recommended for award at this time as <br />staff was still evaluating that situation. <br />Councilmember Kough asked about ornamental metal <br />fencing, landscaping, and mats. <br />Mr. Schwartz described the overall plan for the site and <br />the bid alternate system. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Klausing, Kough and Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Kough seconded approval of <br />Alternate SC, Alternate 8 and Alternate 19 as follows: <br />Alternate 5C Sidewalk from Civic 51-800 <br />Center to Skating Center <br />Alternate 8 Skylights for vehicle 361735 <br />garage <br />Alternate 19 Powcr Receptacles for 1 51235 <br />Holiday 1i lain <br />Mr. Schwartz described the scope and purpose of each <br />alternate bid. <br />Councilmember Klausing asked about the energy rebate <br />offsetting bid Alternate S, and about the scope of bid <br />Alternate 19. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Maschka, Klausing, Kough and KysyIyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br />S.
