The property is owned by Mr. and <br />Mrs. Michael Turne. The staff' has been working on this case since March of 2003. The <br />owner has been notified of this agenda item and Council meeting, <br />2.0 Project History <br />2.1 The home at 2199 Cohansey Blvd is owned by Mr. and Mrs. Michael Turne who live <br />in the home. <br />2.2 Code compliance items on the property include: <br />1. The fence along the rear property lime, which abuts Sandhurst Drive, is dilapidated <br />and in a state of disrepair. The fence originally fell over and was then propped -up by <br />the property owner. This repair was deemed inadequate as a permanent repair and is a <br />violation of City Code Section 407.0 J . <br />3.1 Community Development Staff offers three alternative actions. Staff recommends that <br />the Council approve the issuance of Ramsey County Court Citation for continuation <br />of a public nuisance (City Code Sections 407.02 J K). <br />4.0 SUGGESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />4.1 By motion, direct the staff to work with the city prosecuting attorney to cite <br />(Ramsey ou my Court citation) the owner for violation of the Code.
