Organizational Business <br />Item Description: Decision to Repair or Replace Engines 31 and 324 <br />BACKGROUND: The Roseville Fire Department operates a fleet of 5 fire engines and 2 ladder trucks. The <br />depreciation schedule plans for the replacement of firefighting vehicles after a 2o- car life. Depending on wear <br />and usage, some vehicles can last longer than 20 years while others may become costly to repair and maintain <br />before their 20 -gear life is up. The estimated repairs f6t' 003 are 51,00 (excludm'g the <br />eF <br />$13,750 estimated cost to repair Engines 31 and 32).
