B. <br />Recognitions <br />Rome Women of Thy <br />Whereas: The Minnesota Women of Today and the Roseville Women of Today have <br />set aside the week of September 21-27, 2003, to recognize the community activities of <br />the dedicated Women of Today in Roseville and across the Nation; and <br />Whereas : The Roseville Women of Today is an organization of over 2,200 women <br />in over 120 communities across the state; and <br />Whereas: The Minnesota Women of Today and the Roseville Women of Today are <br />dedicated to actively promoting such public awareness and service programs as <br />educational and fundraising activities for the March of Dimes, Kidney Disease, Camp <br />Friendship, The Jeremiah Program, Domestic Violence Prevention, the Girl Scouts} <br />Second Harvest, Arthritis Foundation, Adopt a Family, American Red Cross and Breast <br />Cancer Awareness; and <br />'whereas: The Minnesota Women of Today and the Roseville Women of Today <br />provide leadership training and personal enrichment opportunities through community <br />service to the women of Roseville; and <br />Whereas: Women of Today believe that `'Through us Great Lessons Can Be <br />Learned, worthy Deeds Performed and a Hand of ` Fello ship Extended to Millions of <br />Women Everywhere."' <br />Now, Therefore Be It Resolved} that the Roseville City Council do hereby proclaim this <br />week of September 1 -27, 2003: as Women of Today Week and urge all citizens of our - <br />community to give full regard to the past and continuing services�o f -the Roseville <br />Women of Today. <br />In Witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Seal of the City of <br />Roseville to he affixed this 15th day of September 2003, <br />Mayor John I ys ylyezyn <br />
