Even though we do not
use the leaf pick -up service, l know many of our residence (many of whom are senior citizens who one of
the council members supposedly represents) do use and need the service.
We do use the compost site, both for getting rid of our leaves and for utilizing the compost for our yard and flower -
beds. Many other residence also use this site. gust view the activity of the site in the Fall and Spring.
Therefore, please vote for maintaining both of these services.
As a side note, we find it very interesting how those who voted in favor of paging $17,000+++, in whet we he'l ieve
to be questionable legal fees for our tax dollar to go towards, start slashing a budget without much input from
citizens of Roseville. We won't get into how we feel about how and when the vote was taken on the ratter of the
legal fees. In most instances, it appears that some of your minds are made up without listening to the residence.
Again, thank you for voting ii °i favor of continuing the leaf pick -up and compost site as a needed service in
Roseville.
Hary and Jan Moen
8/14/2003
