Ms. Frank <br />recommended that consideration be given to locating the <br />signs in vicinities where the Star City signs had been <br />located. <br />Councilmember Kough recommended, upon recognition <br />of the upcoming Primary Election and the potential for this <br />issue to become political, that the item be tabled until after <br />the election season. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn left the dais during the latter part of <br />this discussion and returned at 8:30 p.m. <br />No action taken. <br />B. Continued Public Hearing for City Project UL -03 -1.21; <br />Oakcrest Avenue Streetlights, Discuss Roseville's <br />Streetlight Policy, and Conduct an Assessment Hearing <br />for an Enhanced Streetlight Plan on Oakcrest, from <br />approximately Fairview Avenue to Prior, as Requested <br />by Roseville Properties, Inc. <br />Kysylyczyn moved approval of a resolution ordering <br />Project UL -03 -11 and directing the improvement to be <br />installed. The motion died for lack of a second. <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Schroeder seconded, denial of <br />ordering Project UL -03 -11. <br />Assistant Public Works Director Debra Bloom provided <br />historical infortnafion on the City's policy for installation <br />of standard street light installation; the receipt of petition <br />requesting the project; financial implications and costs for <br />assessment to property owners within the scope of the <br />project at $22.36 per foot to accommodate the request for <br />"ornamental" lighting. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn opened the Public Hearing at 838 p.m. <br />Mark Rancony, Property Manager for Roseville <br />Properties <br />Mr. Rancony spoke in favor of the requested streetscape <br />Discuss Roseville"s <br />Streetlight Policy, <br />and Conduct an <br />Assessment <br />Hearing for an <br />Enhanced <br />Streetlight Plan on <br />Oakcrest, from <br />approximately <br />Fairview Avenue to <br />Prior, as Requested <br />by Roseville <br />Properties, Inc. <br />
