Regular M I <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 16 <br />City Attorney Anderson advised that, if the Council <br />enacted the motion currently on the table, the draft <br />ordinance as presented, would need to be amended to <br />incorporate the language of the motion, since the current <br />draft does not include seven {7} days as proposed, only <br />Monday through Saturday, with closing at midnight on <br />Sunday. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn directed City Attorney Anderson to <br />review the ordinance to ensure that between the first and <br />second reading, the City Code language proposed is <br />consistent with State Statute. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn opened and closed the Public Hearing <br />at 9:10 p.m., with no one appearing for or against. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes{ Schroeder, Maschka, Klausing, Kough and <br />Kysylyczyn. <br />Nays: None. <br />D. Second Reading and Enactment of an Ordinance <br />Entitled, "Non - Exclusive Transit Stop Shelter <br />Franchise," and First Reading of an Ordinance <br />Amending Chapter Seven, Section 703.05 of the <br />Roseville City Code Concerning Bus Benches and Bus <br />Shelters <br />Kough moved, Schroeder seconded, holding a second <br />reading and enacting an ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance <br />Authorizing the City to Grant Non - Exclusive Transit <br />Shelter Franchises." <br />Public Works Director Duane Schwartz provided <br />background infonnation and seven (7) criteria developed <br />by the Public Works and Transportation Commission for <br />incorporation into the ordinance, but not provided for in <br />current draft ordinance language: <br />1) Public hearings to be held in front of the Public <br />Works Commission on all shelter placements; <br />2) All shelters should be lighted; <br />Non-Exclusive <br />Transit Stop <br />Sheller Franchise <br />and <br />First Reading of an <br />Ordinance <br />Amending Chapter <br />Seven, Section <br />703.05 of the <br />Roseville City Code <br />Concerning Bus <br />Benches and Bus <br />Shelters <br />
