Residents appeared to be quite pleased with the service. Many of the people that <br />Recycling Coordinator Pratt tallied to on the phone or in person said they were glad to <br />have someplace to take these difficult items for disposal More than one resident remarked <br />that they had things sitting around their house they wanted to get rid of, but just didn't <br />know how_ Others said they were glad they could take-all this material to one spot instead <br />of having to drive to different facilities to drop off different types of wam. The only <br />complaints came from residents with tractor tires that thought they could pay the rate for <br />over -sized tires ($2), but instead they had to pay more. Tractor tires were not included in <br />the price list because Lightning said so few of them are dropped off' at clean up activities. <br />Given the positive results of the Clean Up Day, it appears Roseville resident support <br />continuation of the program. Also given the excellent preparation and service provided by <br />Lightning Disposal the City may Irish to extend the one -year contract in order to insure the <br />consistency and stability of the program while it matures, <br />Here is a list of other considerations; <br />IPrices will have to include the CEC. <br />jV- Include mention in publicity materials that there will be an additional charge for <br />certain items such as tractor tires. <br />~4�lnclude in publicity materials that there will be a separate charge for a computer <br />hard drive and a monitor. <br />-.VExplore expanding the hours of operation as more people use the service in the <br />future. <br />
