EXTRACT of MINUTES TE of MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL of THE CITY of ROSE VI <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Rmrisey, Minnesota} was held on the 21 st day of July., 2003, at 63 o p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member <br />inhxJuced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION loo. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN 11 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.02D5 OF <br />THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />2508 MARION STREET (3492 ). <br />IMREA , Karen Casper has requested a variance to Section 1004.02D5 (Dwelling <br />Dn' pensions — Rear Yard Setback) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction a 224 square <br />foot lower level screen porch and upper lever four- season porch- and <br />VVMREAS, the Casper parcel is located at 2508 Marion Street and legally described as: <br />Lot 6, Block 1, Caves Oakwood Addition <br />PILAF 12-29-23-14-0036 <br />I[EREA , Section 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code requires a principal structure to be <br />set back a * ' of 30 feet from a rear yard property line } and <br />WBEREA , Kaaren Casper desires to constrict a two level addition (screen and four- season <br />porch) that would encroach 11 feet into the required 30 foot: setback; and <br />WMREA , the Roseville flapping Qnmmission held the public hearing re gat A ng the Casper <br />variance rust (Section 1004.02D5) on July 9, 2003, and recommended (5 -o) approval of the <br />request based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Seefion 6 of the project report dated <br />July % 2003. <br />NOW TFMREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant Karen <br />Casper an 11 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D5 welling Dfinensions — bear Yard Setback) of <br />the Roseville City Code allowing the construction a two lever screen and four- season porch, 224 <br />square feet in size at 2508 Marion Street, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The property owner must locate the lot's property pins (or provide a survey) and based <br />on that, develop a scaled site plan with dimensions for screened porch and four- season <br />porch addition, allowing the Community Development Department to verify proper <br />
