There shall he no indication of offensive odors, noise, vibration, dust, or heat beyond the <br />boundaries of the residential lot occupied by the home occupation. <br />®. The following activities shall be prohibited as home occupations: <br />(1) The operation of any wholesale or retail business unless it is conducted entirely by mail <br />and does not involve the sale, shipment or delivery of nwrehandise on the premises. The sale <br />of products incidental to the delivery of a service is allowed (such as the sale of computer <br />discs by a computer software consultant). <br />(2) Any manufacturing, stamping, grinding or power tool business, motor vehicle repair, <br />gluing, service, painting, or body shops. <br />(3) The operation of a barber or beauty shop, except as allowed by conditional use permit. <br />(4) The sale, lease, trade, or transfer of firearms or ammunition by a firearms dealer. <br />(5) Headquarters or dispatch centers where persons come to the site and are dispatched to <br />other locations. (Ord. 1212, 10 -1 2 -1 998) <br />H. Repairs: There shall be no commercial automotive repairs on a lot in a residence district. (Ord. 758, <br />6-23-1975) <br />1. Garage And Boutique Sales In Residential Districts: <br />1. Restricted: Garage sales and residential boutique sales are permitted accessory uses in R -1, R-211 <br />R49 R-5 and R -6 Districts, but shall be limited to, three (3) 3- consecutive -day sales each calendar <br />year per residential unit, and shall not exceed nine (9) total days in duration per year. No single sale <br />shall exceed three (3) consecutive days in length. The maximum daily hours of operation shall be <br />eight o'clock (8:00) A.M. to six o'clock (6:00) P.M. A residential boutique sale shall not occupy <br />more than four hundred (400) square feet of a residential unit. <br />J. Storage Space Requirement: A minimum of ninety six (96) cubic feet of miscellaneous storage space <br />shalt be provided for each dwelling in these areas: R -3, R -3A, R-4, R -5, R -6 and R -7, within the <br />principal structure containing such unit. Such space shall be in addition to normal storage space <br />provided in wardrobes, cabinets and clothes or linen closets. <br />I. Euildiniz Address 14ouse Numbers: All principle structures shall be assigned an address number; <br />consistent with the city street numbering systenni by the Chief Code Enforcement officer. Prior to <br />issuance of an occupancy certificate, each _owner shall cause to be displayed said building address <br />number either by attachin or ainting the numbers to the buildina and any required street -side mail <br />boxes, or such other conspicuous di�y, in a contrasting- reflectorized _color or tone, which is clearly <br />visible and leg' from the public street as approved by the Chief Code Enforcement Officer, The <br />number shall be displayed on the building at a height of five vertical feet (51 above the main floor <br />entry door threshold, and within two horizontal feet (2') of the end door: ur if no door faces the <br />street on the wall facing and clearly visible from the street as approved, by the Chief Code <br />Enforcement Officer. The number displaed on the building and on street -side mail loxes shall be at <br />least four inches (4 ") in height, with a nummum 12 inch stroke. Script or worded_ descriptions shall <br />not be permitted.
