Schwartz said there weren't. <br />Member ' illenbring asked Schwartz if there have been any complaints <br />about the benches. Schwartz said that he doesn't know of any specific <br />complaint about bus benches in Roseville. <br />Member Anderson asked Schwartz if he thinks shelters and benches have <br />coexisted without any problems. Schwartz said he hasn't heard of any real <br />conflicts. <br />Len Thiel, Government Liaison with US Bench, spoke and said there are <br />f many times they get called and requested to put a bench in a certain area. <br />Commission members discussed AIWA requirements for shelters and <br />benches. Schwartz pointed out the Outdoor Promotions information from <br />their packets that listed the AIWA guidelines they go by. <br />Discussion began about how to pick shelter locations. MTC doesn't have <br />information on bus stop usage. Member Wilke suggested that shelters <br />should go at the corners of major streets, such as rule and Co Rd B, so the <br />shelter would act as a magnet. Member Willenbring said he thought <br />whatever businesses were at the corner were the magnet so even if it's a <br />busy intersection, there have to be businesses or residential areas to have <br />bus riders. <br />While discussing whether there ' s a need for public hearings i <br />
