The review and approval of a building permit must be consistmit with the approved <br />plans and variance. <br />7.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION: <br />7.1 On July 9, 2003, the Roseville planning ornnvssion held the public hearing regarding the Gregg <br />variance request. The City Planner reviewed the applicant's proposal and the Community <br />Development Department's recommendation, which recommended a reduced variance (3 77 sq. <br />fl. versus 528 sq. ft.) from that requested by Mr. Gregg. <br />7.2 No citizens addressed the Commission; however, the Cornirdssion did have a few question of <br />stag' and the applicant~ Specifically, the Commission was in rested in knowing whether the <br />accessory building could be narrower, what exterior materials will be used on the building- was <br />a roof storage area of interest to the applicant; was the Conurdssion interested in adding a <br />condition req n <br />u ag boat and other equipment to be stored inside the new building; and <br />clarification on the Staff recommendation. <br />7.3 The Commission voted (4-1) to reconunend approval of a 377 square foot VARLANCE to <br />Section 1004.01 Ab of the Roseville City Code allowing Mr. Gregg to contact a 20 foot wide <br />by 24 foot deep detached accessory building in his near yard, based on the findings of Section 5 <br />and conditions of Section 6 (revised per meeting minutes) of the project report dated July 9, <br />2003. <br />8.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br />8.1 Adopt a resolution granting a 377 square foot VARLkNCE to Section 1004.01A6 <br />(Maximum Total Surface Area) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of <br />PF3494 — RCA 072103 - Page 5 of 6 <br />
