After the primary, candidates know more about their opponents., and can <br />point out why they are the better choice. They have to <br />shove they can work hard, demonstrating determination and fortitude, to win the <br />primary. <br />5. An advantage of keeping the primary is that it allows the community to <br />nominate whom they grant to run for office in the final election. Since anyone can <br />file to run for a position, the primary allows citizens to determine which of the <br />contenders they feel will represent them the best. <br />
