Execrative Session and Regular City Council — 4/7/03 <br />DRAF r Minutes — Page 2 <br />homes. He introduced Mark Traynor, who spoke about <br />the "Living at Home Block Nurse Program." Mr. Traynor <br />introduced Cathy Croghan who spoke about the details of <br />the program. Ms. Croghan also described the progress <br />made so far over the last five (5) months. Ms. Croghan <br />encouraged Roseville residents to volunteer to serve on the <br />Board of Directors, and to donate to the program. <br />Councilmember Kough spoke in favor of the program and <br />of people volunteering; and inquired about income and age <br />qualifications for the program. All Councilmembers <br />expressed their appreciation to the presenters. <br />B. Presentation of Proposed Facility Plans <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Schroeder seconded, the plans for the <br />Police and Public Works Maintenance Project as <br />presented; authorized Ankeny Kell Architects to proceed <br />with detailed design development consistent with the <br />foregoing, with funding to come from the proceeds of the <br />voter - approved bond issue and the Building Replacement <br />Fund in anot -to- exceed amount of $10.4 Million. <br />Public Works Director/Project Manager Duane Schwartz <br />overviewed the presentation planned for tonight's meeting. <br />Pam Anderson, of Ankeny Kell Architects, summarized <br />the schematic floor plans, first for the renovated Public <br />Works Maintenance Facility and then for the Police <br />Department. <br />Mark Wentzell, of Ankeny Kell Architects, summarized <br />the site plan, building elevations and building image. <br />Project Manager Schwartz summarized the budget, the <br />timeline for bid packages, and a possible labor agreement. <br />Dustin Schwake, of Ankeny Kell Architects, reviewed the <br />phases of construction For the new addition, estimating a <br />fifteen (IS) month construction period. <br />Presentation of <br />Proposed Facility <br />Plans <br />
