A, <br />Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />Hearings <br />Item Description: Senior Discount program for City Utilities <br />Background: The Council had considerable discussion at the April 14} 2003, Council Meeting <br />regarding this program. The Council direction at that meeting was to bring this item back for <br />citizen input at a future meeting. we are attaching all previous information from previous <br />Council discussions and the Public works Commission on this item. we have added an <br />additional page from Finance Director Chris Miller regarding an estimation of the number of <br />households eligible for the discount at various household income levels. <br />Motion to change Senior Utility Discount program to Council desired eligibility requirements. <br />Prepared B: wane Schwartz <br />
