EXTRACT aF MINUTES MEETING F THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RO EVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 2nd day of June, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member -� introduced the following resolution and mo vcd its adoption: <br />RE SOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN 8 SQUARE FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION <br />1004.01.A3 OF THE R05EVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />1321 RYAN AVENUE (PF 3472) <br />WHEREAS, Jahn Bentfield field has requested a variance to Section 1004.01A3 (Detached <br />Accessory Building Size) of the Roseville ity Code to allow the construction of a 28 foot by 26 <br />foot (728 sq. fl.) detached accessory building (garage) in his rear yard- and <br />as: <br />WHEREAS the Bentfield eld parcel is located at 1321 Ryan Avenue and legally described <br />The East _ % q f Lot 19 & all of Lot 20, Block 11, <br />Midway Hills Rearrangement of Como Garden Lots <br />PID 15-29-23-13-0043 <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A3 o f the Roseville City Code limits a single family <br />residential parcel to a rear yard allowance for an accessory building of up to 40% of the rear yard <br />area; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Bentfield seeps approval of an allowance of 728 square feet, 8 square <br />feet over the maximum allowed by Section 1004.01A3; an <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Bentfield variance request (Section 1 004.01 A3) on May 7, 2003, and recommended (4 -0) <br />approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of <br />the project report dated May 7, 2003. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to grant John <br />Bentfield an 8 square foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.01 A.3 (Detached Accessory Building <br />Size) of the Roseville City Code allowing the construction a 28 foot by 26 foot (7 28 sq. ft.) <br />dctached accessory building (garage) in the rear yard of property located at 1321 Ryan Avenue, <br />subj ect to the following conditions: <br />
