7.0 PLANNING COMMISSION ACTION; <br />7.1 On May 7, 2003, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding <br />the three variance requests. At the hearing no citizens addressed the Commission. <br />However, the Commission did ask Mr. Bentfield whether he planned to keep or remove <br />the rear yard shed. Mr. Bentfield replied that the shed would be removed. <br />7.2 The Planning Commission voted_ (4-0) to recommend approval of a VARIANCE to <br />Section 1004.0 1 A3, 1004.0 1 A6, and 1004.02D5 of the Roseville City Code for John <br />Bentfiels, 1321 Ryan Avenue to allow the construction of a 728 sq. ft. detached gar-age <br />and additional driveway, based on the findings in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 <br />1 <br />of the project report dated May 7, 2003. <br />8.0 SUGGESTED CITY COUNCIL ACTION: <br />8.1 Adopt a resolution approving an 8 square foot VARIANCE to Section 1004,01A3 <br />(Detached Accessory Building Size) of the Roseville City Code; <br />8.2 Adopt a resolution approving a 1,083 square foot (13.4%) VARIANCE to Section <br />1004.01A6 (Maximurn Total Surface Area) of the?.oseville City Code; and <br />8.3 Adopt a resolution approving a 2 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D5 (Dwellin.l <br />Dimensions — Side Yard Setback) of the Roseville City Code for John Bentfield, to <br />0 <br />allow construction of a detached accessory building (garage) and additional <br />driveway pavement at 1321 Ryan Avenue, based on the findings in Section 5 and <br />conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated June 2, 2003. <br />Prepared by: Thomas Paschke (651-490-2236) <br />Attachments: Location map, narrative, site plan, atrial photo. <br />PF3472 - RCA 06/02/03 - Page 6 of 6 <br />
