EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, Counter of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 2"d day of June, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 70 FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1404A1A7 AND A VARIANCE TO SECTION 703.04B2 OF THE ROSEVI LLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 986 PARKER AVENUE (PF 3469) WHEREAS, James I ueffer has requested a variance to Section 1004.01 A7 (Location) and Section 703.04B2 (Distance Between Driveways) of the Roseville ity Code to allow the construction of a 24 foot by 4 foot (576 sq. ft. ) detached accessory building (garage) and to share a driveway between 896 and 890 Farber Avenue; and WHEREAS, the I uef fer parcel is located at $96 Parker Avenue and legally described as: Frankson's Garden Plateau ex E. 85 ft.; Lot 4 and all of Lot 5, Blk (VERIFYLEGAL) PID: 14-29-23-21-0080 WHEREAS, , Section 1004.01A7 of the Roseville City Code does not allow an accessory building to be located in a front yard; and WHEREAS, , Ir. l ueffer seeps allowance to place (construct) a detached garage 69 feet from the property line adjacent to Farber Avenue or are encroachment of ?o feet into the front yard; and WHEREAS, Section 703.04B2 requires driveways to 'be setback a m1n8imurn of 5 fee from a side yard property line; and WHEREAS, Mr. Kueffer seeps allowance to share a driveway with the property at 890 Parker Avenue; and WREREASI, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the ueffer variance requests (Section 1004.01 A7 & 703.002) on May 7, 2003, and recommended (40) approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated May 7, 2003.
