He also expressed <br />concern with the garage materials and design. <br />Thomas Paschke explained that this minor subdivision case was previously discussed <br />with the Council, agreeing to eliminate the driveway and garage behind the house. <br />Member Bakeman asked hoer steps will be added. <br />Vice Chair Mulder asked ghat the hardship is in this ease. Staff must review structure <br />plans. <br />Motion, Member Traynor moved, seconded by Member Ipsen, to recommend approval <br />(approval with modifications or denial) of a 69 foot VARIANCE to Sections 1 004.01 A7 <br />and 703.04B of the Roseville City Code for James Kueffer, to allow construction of a <br />4' x 24' detached accessory building (garage) at 896 Parker Avenue in the front yard <br />and to retain the existing joint driveway to a point no further south than 75 feet from the <br />Parker Avenue property line, based on the findings in Section 5 and conditions of <br />Section 6 of the project report dated May 7, 2003, and further that the design plan is to be <br />reviewed by City staff. <br />Member Bakeman said she was bothered by the size of the structure in the front yard. <br />Ayes: 4 <br />Nays: <br />Motion carried. <br />
