Craig Klausing <br />Mr. Torn Dough <br />Mr. Dean laschka <br />Mr. reg Schroeder <br />City Manager Mr. Neal beets <br />Dear Sirs, <br />Regarding the Kenneth Berger and Deborah Larson request for a variance to Section <br />1004.01A of the Roseville City Code, plannin a fit a #3465, for the construction off ` a <br />detached two ear garage at 30 Victoria St., we the olan's, the neighbors to the <br />immediate South of the Berger /Larson lot oppose this request for the following concerns <br />and reasons_ <br />1) Luke the neighbor to the immediate Forth of the forger /Larson lot, we too are very <br />concerned about the proper drainage of rainwater and runoff. <br />2) The large conifer trees along the northern side of our lot are at potential serious risk <br />of injury and/or death. Please see enclosed attachment titled "Preventing Construction <br />Damage to Trees ". <br />3) This imposing oversized two -car garage in the front yard would impact the aesthetics' <br />of the neighborhood. This is a radical variance request and more creative alternatives <br />need to be considered. <br />4) The only Roseville example that Mr. Berger gage of a similar structure constructed at <br />2468 Hamlin Ave. is not a comparable example, plus, neither the north nor south <br />neighbors opposed his variance request. <br />5) In addition, we have security concerns because the large detached garage will block <br />much of the street views of the north side of our house. �, <br />
