Regular City Council Minutes — 6/02103 <br />DRAF"F Minutes - Page 21 <br />discussion would not create any issues; given the <br />language chosen for the referendum question, allowing <br />the City Council to make proper decisions With some <br />flexibility. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn questioned Project Manager Schwartz <br />if there was any information not told voters about this <br />project before the referendum; with Project Manager <br />Schwartz advising that the final design concepts hadn't <br />changed in broad scope since before the referendum. <br />Councilmember Schroeder stated that staff and <br />consultants had answered his questions to his satisfaction; <br />opined that the public had been kept informed; and that he <br />had received no verbal or written complaints from <br />citizens regarding the project. <br />Councilmember Klausing advised that he would be wring <br />against the motion, perceiving that no additional <br />information would be gained in the course of a week to <br />change his position; and that he was comfortable moving <br />forward with staff-requested motions allowing the project <br />to proceed. <br />Councilmember advised he would also be <br />voting against the motion. <br />Councilmember Maschka advised that, even though he <br />had made the motion, he was prepared to move forward, <br />given Council consensus. <br />CounciImember Klausing opined that it had been well <br />worth having tonight's discussion. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn expressed his confidence that staff <br />and Councilmembers had done their job in keeping the <br />public informed throughout the project to -dale. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn called the motion. <br />
