The soccer field will be reoriented <br />13 to a north -south alignment. Dice Creek watershed } s requirements must be met on both <br />14 Phases. <br />15 <br />16 Member Stone asked if alternatives to the Woodbridge access to the south parking had <br />17 been discussed; one alternative is one two -way entry to the site, Member Mulder said <br />18 two separate entrances would be better for emergency access. Member Stone asked if stop signs could be added at <br />3 Woodbridge and Iona. Deb Bloom explained reduced need, speed and safety issues <br />24 relating to stop signs. Residents can request a stop sign study. <br />5 <br />26 Member Ipsen asked if traffic counts had been studied. Deb Bloom stated that <br />27 approximately 100 more trips will be added to Woodbridge, which is not considered a <br />28 problem. She said the street traffic capacity is adequate. <br />9 <br />30 Member Traynor asked if high school and Fairview has two or more driveway accesses. <br />31 Deb Bloom explained traffic management. Parkview has three accesses. This project is <br />32 consistent with other schools. <br />33 <br />34 ,Andrea Robbins, 2673 Woodbridge, stated the neighbors are not pleased. The current <br />35 "parr" (church playground apparatus) area would be destroyed. Much activity occurs <br />36 after school hours. who will hang out in new parking lots? How many student cars will <br />37 actually be there? Speeding traffic on Woodbridge is a big concern. Farling and traffic <br />38 are a big issue. The school will compound the problem. The soccer field is not big <br />39 enough; adults use it in the evening. She said field lights are a problem to residences. <br />She was pleased with the building which blocks the Dice Street traffic /noise. <br />41 <br />42 Member Feper asked if the trees in the park area would be lost (most would be). <br />43 <br />Chair Duncan asked who was notified (30 single family homes). <br />45 <br />46 Richard Jacobsen, 2719 Woodbridge, expressed concern about the smaller parking lot — <br />
