Councilmember Klausing was very supportive of <br />the landscaped median to provide visual amenities to <br />compensate for the remaining power transmission towers. <br />Further discussion included bike and vehicular traffic <br />segregation; intersection tum lanes; materials for <br />boulevard enhancement; <br />Councilmember Schroeder opined that, even though he <br />would prefer a three lane, the five lanes hooked more <br />feasible considering the traffic counts; and recommended <br />an S' — 10' pathway width to allow for more efficient <br />truck plowing and maintenance. <br />Mr. Soler expressed his appreciation to the Council for <br />their input and comments, and advised he would work <br />with staff to schedule the public information meetings; <br />and return to the City Council with revised drawings that <br />reflected Council and citizen comments, prior to the final <br />design conung before the Council. <br />Mayor Kysylyczyn asked ghat, given that this section of <br />County Road C provided a major outlet for Police and <br />Fire emergency vehicles, that those staff people be <br />included in the decision- making process in the early <br />stages. <br />B. Consider Roseville Properties' Development Concept <br />for Twin Lakes, Tax Increment Financing UIF) <br />Application and Eminent Domain Requests (PF 3232) <br />Community Development Director Dennis Welsch <br />introduced the subject and impacts of not having received <br />Special Legislation for Tax increment Financing (TTF), <br />creating a need for other financial alternatives.
