EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEYIY.T.F Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 31" day of March, 2003, at 6 :30 p.m. The following members were present: and the following were absent: Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: SOLUTION No. A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 1,780 SQUARE FOOT VARIANCE To SECTION 1004.01A6 of THE ROSE ILLS CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2080 FA RRIN `T O AVENUE (PF 3454)9 WHEREAS,, Daniel Boerigter has requested a variance to Section 1004.01A6 of the Roseville City Code in allow construction of additional living area, entry porch, covered deck and sidewalk to the existing home; and HEREAS, the Boerigter parcel is located at 2080 Farrington Avenue and legally described at as: Thor ton's Subdivision of the }northeast Quarter of ection 13, Township 29, Range 23, subject to Burke Avenue and excluding the South 555 feet of the East 124-471100feet of Lot 10. PIN: 13-29-23-12-0045, WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A6 limits a residential parcel in Roseville to a maximum impervious coverage of 30% base on the parcel/lot size; and WHEREAS, Mr. Boerigter has a lot size of 114,928 square feet, which affords the parcel 4,479 square feet of impervious area; and WHEREAS, the Eoerigters parcel has a current total impervious coverage of 4,5 10 square feet, which total complies with the 30% maximum coverage allowance; and WHEREAS, Mr. Boerigter proposes to construct 1,749 square feet in hone and site improvements, which would increase the total impervious coverage for the parcel to 6,259 or 42% or an overage of 1,780 square feet from that which is allowed by the City Code; and VVHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Conunission held the public hearing regarding the Boerigter variance request (Section 1004.01 A6) on March 5, 2003, and recornmended 5 -1 + approval of the request, based on findings outlined in Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the project report dated March 5, 2003.
