The following, are my views on maintena�n�ci., <br />for all projects. <br />1) Impact of project on maintenance policies, with staff suggested changes if needed. <br />2) Impact of project on ma�inten�ance procedures, with staff suggested changes if needed <br />3) Estimated a�nn�u�a�l cost to maintain this project when completed. I would envision these maintenance costs to <br />be a�piproved by the Councill and added to the appropriate operating budget line Item and be carried forward yeal' <br />f-fter year until the piroject i's removed. This cost estima d Identify $$ for people, equipment, and material <br />ieeded to perform the required maintenance. If additional people and/or equipment are needed they sih�ould be <br />�dentified. <br />4) Estimated im�pact, on infrastructure management plans (i.e. Trail Management Program; Street Management <br />Plrogram, etc., I would like to see du�ring the devel'opme�n�t of the 2004 Budget ou�r maintenance department;,-! <br />review thei�r budgets against the facilities and in�frastructure we a�l�read�y have and identify sihort fall's and any <br />needed or recommended changes to maintenance policies Procedures and budget. Again, the $$1 for people, <br />equipment, and material needed to accomplish these, chan�g�es should be included In the budg�et. <br />
