EXTRACT CF MINUTES CF MEETIN; CF THE CITY CCXJN::IL CF THE CITY CF ROSE.VILLE * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Rarlfley, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, RDseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the second day of Decenber, 1985, at 7 :30 o'clock p.m. The following menbers were present: and Demos. Franke, Kehr, Curley, Johnson, and the following were absent: None. Merrber Demos introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION 00. 7839 RESOLUl'ION lIDJUESTIN; VARIAOCE TO MSA 160.241 R01IDWAY CLEVELAID AVENUE FRat COONI'Y RQlID B-2 TO OAKCREST AVENUE WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has established standards for roadway design; and WHEREAS, in order to utilize state aid monies, it is necessary to meet such standards; and WHEREAS, Cleveland Avenue between County Road B-2 and oakcrest Drive is on such a state aid system; and WHEREAS, the construction of a new bridge in the vicinity and the reconstruction of Cleveland Avenue is necessary; and WHEREAS, such reconstruction is desired to be done in manner that is not in compliance with state aid standards; and WHEREAS, the City of Roseville is of the opinion that the proposed design is superior and preferable to the normal state aid standard; and WHEREAS, to implement this requires a variance from said standards;
