lDV, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Roseville requests a variance from rnininum design standards for roadway width along Cleveland Avenue (MSA 160.241) from County Road B-2 to Oakcrest Avenue. The request is for a variance from 14 MCAR Section 1.5032,H.,I.C Rules for State Aid Operations under Minnesota Statue, Chapters 162 and 163 as amended, so as to permit a mininum roadway width of 40 feet. Minnesota Rules Chapter 8820.9912 for Urban Roadway Classification has only one classification for a projected MYr range of more than 10,000 ADT: Arterial (high density). Chapter 8820.9912 has a mininum width of 52 for a high density 4 lane arterial street. The variance is for a reduction in minirrum width from 52 feet for a 4 lane roadway to a width of 40 feet for a 3 lane roadway with no parking. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Merrber Curley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present. and the following voted against same: None. whereupon said resolution was declared duly Passed and adopted.
