As part of the study the City also hired the law <br />firm of Kennedy and Graven (David Kennedy and Steve Bubul) to review the existing <br />TIF Development District and TIF Project Districts to update the language and <br />procedure, consistent with the new state statutes. <br /> <br />In order to amend and clarify the language in these plans a public hearing will be <br />necessary. Because the law is complicated, the staff has prepared the following <br />schedule, culminating in a TIF public hearing on Monday, November 25, 1996. <br /> <br />Oct. 14, 1996- <br /> <br />Set public hearing date as November 25, 1996 <br /> <br />Oct. 14, 1996- <br /> <br />Provide notice (30 days before publication) to County <br />Commissioners whose districts are affected. <br /> <br />Oct. 25, 1996 - <br /> <br />Provide plan amendments to School Districts and County <br /> <br />Nov. 08, 1996- <br /> <br />Submit publication notice for publication Nov. 14, 1996 <br /> <br />Nov. 13,1996- <br /> <br />Planning Commission reviewlrecommendation on Compo Plan <br />consistency <br /> <br />Nov.14,1996- <br /> <br />Publication of hearing notice <br /> <br />Nov. 25,1996- <br /> <br />Hold public hearing, decide on plan revisions <br /> <br />1 <br />~ <br />
