Page 2 <br />Hamline Avenue <br />9/16/91 <br />This proposal appears to meet the concerns expressed by St. Rose. it <br />also addresses Falcon Heights desire to have parking allowed on the west <br />side and also meets the needs of some of the property owners who lose <br />off - street parking due to the widening of Hamline Avenue. <br />Since our office sent out a notice of the public hearing, we received <br />several telephone calls from abutting property owners. The consensus <br />seems to be that property owners wish to have parking allowed on the <br />west side and restricted on the east side. Several residents have noted <br />that the mail boxes are located on the east side,.and for this reason <br />parking should be restricted on the east side to allow proper access for <br />mail delivery. <br />COUNCIL ACTION: <br />Adoption of resolution imposing parking restrictions on Hamline Avenue <br />as follows: <br />No parking east side of Hamline Avenue from Larpenteur to Shryer <br />No parking both sides of Hamline Avenue from Shryer to County Road B. <br />
