HOW MUCH WILL THE PROJECTS COST?
That will depend on the size of the park, type and age of
amenities in that park and the level of reconstruction required.
The average cost for the typical neighborhood park will be about
$100,000. There may be smaller or larger projects undertaken
depending on their PIP score.
WHEN WILL CONSTRUCTION BE DONE?
Every effort will be made to refrain from disturbing any of the
activities or programs annually scheduled for each of the parks.
It is anticipated that much of the construction will be done in
late Summer and Fall. - In some cases because of the extent and
nature of such planned renovation, a park may be out of service
for an extended period of time.
IF THE PARR IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD IS NOT,BEING REDEVELOPED NOW, WILL
IT EVER BE UPGRADED?
The PIP systematically looks at all Roseville parks but in order
to complete the PIP it is anticipated that within the next ten
years, all Roseville parks will be revitalized.
HOW ABOUT REPAIRING ITEMS THAT ARE BROKEN OR UNSAFE BEFORE THE
PARK IS SCHEDULED TO BE IMPROVED?
These items will be repaired immediately by the Park Maintenance
staff. If you are aware of any such problems, please call the
Parks and Recreation Department immediately (490 -2280) so that
any unsafe conditions can be corrected as soon as possible.
STILL HAVE QUESTIONS?
Please do not hesitate to call the
Office at any time and we will be glad
and discuss the concerns.
