PLANNING REPORT
DATE:
CASE NUMBER:
APPLICANT:
LOCATION:
ACTION REQUESTED:
PLANNING CONSIDERATIONS:
1. BACKGROUND
13 February 1991
2193
MEAM Properties /Systems
Control
2330 County Road C (see
sketch)
Special Use Permit for
Motor Vehicle Related
Use, Approval of a
Preliminary and Final
Plat
This matter was withdrawn from last month's agenda due to
problems related to the application. The applicants had
previously proposed to process a Special Use Permit for a
motor vehicle related use and the approval of. a division
of a platted lot to allow this project to proceed. When
the boundary survey that is required as part of the
process was prepared, it was determined that there are
already three parcels on this.property, and therefore, it
was not possible to proceed as a simple lot division.
Consequently, the same project has returned for your
review, this time being processed as a Preliminary and
Final Plat and Special Use Permit.
It has been brought to our attention that some
contamination has been identified on the subject property.
From a discussion with the project realtor, we understand
that there may be problems related to clearing title that
could keep this project from proceeding. At this point,
the applicants have made application to the City, paid the
fees, and satisfied all of the conditions to proceed with
the application. We recommend that we simply proceed with
the review of the proposal, and any action taken regarding
the application could be conditioned upon the satisfaction
of all necessary environmental cleanup.
