Conservation during the winter of 2007-08 to help determine parks, trails, aquatics, sports and. <br />recreation facilities and. services priorities for County residents. The survey was desi, ned. to obtain <br />statistically valid. results from hou.sehold.s throughout Westchester County. The survey was administered. <br />by a combination of mail and. phone. The goal was to obtain a total of at least 700 completed. surveys. <br />This goal was far exceeded., with a total of 823 surveys having been completed.. Of the 823 surveys that <br />were completed., 694 surveys were completed. by mail and. 129 surveys were completed. by phone. The <br />results of the random sample of 823 hou.sehold.s have a 95% level of confidence with a precision of at <br />least +/-3.4%. <br />NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY AS COMPONENT FOR MASTER PLAN (2007) <br />Richmond, Virginia <br />Leisure Vision conducted a Community Attitude and Interest Survey during August and <br />September of 2007 for the City of Richmond Department of Parks, Recreation, and Community <br />Facilities to establish priorities for the future improvement of parks and recreation facilities, <br />programs and services within the community. The survey was designed to obtain statistically <br />valid results from households throughout the City of Richmond. The survey was administered <br />by a combination of mail and phone. The goal was to obtain a total of at least 600 completed <br />surveys. This goal was accomplished with a total of 624 surveys having been completed. The <br />results of the random sample of 624 households have a 95% level of confidence with a precision <br />of at least +/-3.9%. <br />PARKS AND RECREATION NEEDS ASSESSMENT STUDY (2007) <br />Gurnee Park District, Gurnee, Illinois <br />Leisure Vision conducted a Community Survey during May and June of 2007 for the Gurnee <br />Park District to establish priorities for the future improvement of parks and recreation facilities, <br />programs and services within the community. The survey was designed to obtain statistically <br />valid results from households throughout the Gurnee Park District. The survey was administered <br />by a combination of mail and phone. The goal was to obtain a total of at least 400 completed <br />surveys. This goal was accomplished, with a total of 472 surveys having been completed.
