X's 0 <br />r i arks and Recreation Needs Assessment Experten <br />COMMUNITY CENTER FEASIBILITY STUDY SURVEY (2 006) <br />Round Rock, Texas <br />Leisure Vision conducted a Community Attitude and Interest Citizen Survey during July and <br />August of 2006 to gather citizen input to help determine indoor recreation and sports needs for <br />the community. The survey was designed to obtain statistically valid results from households <br />throughout the City of Round Rock. The survey was administered by a combination of mail and <br />phone. The goal was to obtain a total of at least 400 completed surveys. This goal was <br />accomplished, with a total of 4220 surveys having been completed. The results of the random <br />sample of 4220 households have a 95% level of confidence with a precision of at least +/-4.8%. <br />PARKS AND RECREATION NEEDS ASSESSMENT SURVEY (2 006) <br />Des Plaines Park District, Des Plaines, Illinois <br />Leisure Vision conducted a Community Attitude and Interest Survey during September and <br />October of 2006 for the Des Plaines Park District to establish priorities for the future <br />development of parks and recreation facilities, programs and services within the community. <br />The survey was designed to obtain statistically valid results from households throughout the Des <br />Plaines Park District. The survey was administered by a combination of mail and phone. The <br />goal was to obtain a total of at least 500 completed surveys within the Des Plaines Park District. <br />This goal was reached with a total of 504 surveys having been completed within the Park <br />District. The results of the random sample of 504 households have a 95% level of confidence <br />with a precision of at least +/-4.4%. <br />NEEDS ASSESSMENT STUDY SURVEY AS COMPONENT OF MASTER PLAN (2 006) <br />Urbana Park District, Urbana Illinois <br />Leisure Vision conducted a Community Attitude and Interest Survey in partnership with the <br />Urbana Park District during May of 2006 to help establish priorities for the future development <br />of parks, greenways and trails, sports and recreation facilities, programs and services within the <br />community. The survey was designed to obtain statistically valid results from households <br />throughout the Urbana Park District. The survey was administered by a combination of mail and <br />phone. The goal was to obtain a total of at least 600 completed surveys. This goal was <br />accomplished, with a total of 696 surveys have been completed.
