<br />I r he Important K'Yatisfaction Ratinm is another tool that is used by Leisure Vision/ETC Institute
<br />to help public offlicials use survey data to help set organizational priorities. More than 70
<br />government agencies currently use Leisure Vision/ETC Institute's I-S Rating. The Importance-
<br />Satisfaction Rating is based on the concept that organizations will maximize overall customer
<br />satisfaction by emphasizing improvements in those service categories where the level of
<br />satisfaction is relatively low and the perceived importance of the service is relatively high.
<br />An example that was developed for the City of Fort Worth, Texas, is provided on the following
<br />page. Based on this analysis, the City of Fort Worth identified outdoor swimming pools and
<br />walking/biking trails as the top two priorities for the City's parks and recreation system.
