POLICY OBJECTIVE
32 The Imagine Roseville 2025 visioning process identified sidewalks and trails as important
33 infrastructure to the community. Trails were also a high priority in the Vista 2000 document
34 from the early 1990's.
35 FINANCIAL IMPACTS
36 They have lowered the funding cap for this year's grant program and it may require some
37 level of local funding participation. All costs are eligible for reimbursement, including
3, engineering expenses. Maintenance would be the responsibility of local jurisdictions.
39 Successful applicants are also required to do some reporting in the future to demonstrate the
°1('_) level of success of this pilot program. If our application were successful, we will be
4 'i returning to the City Council to discuss any needed local funding.
42 STAFF RECOMMENDATION
43 AdODt attached resolution inSUDDort of Non-Motorized TranSDortation Pilot Program arant
44 application
45 REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION
46 Adopt attached resolution in support of Non-Motorized Transportation Pilot Program grant
47 application
Prepared b y: Debra Bloom, City Engineer
Attachments: A: Resolution
B: Location map
