Regular City Council Meeting <br /> Monday, October 24,2011 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Ayes: McGehee; Willmus; Johnson; Pust; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 3. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. No one appeared to speak at this time. <br /> 4. Council Communications,Reports and Announcements <br /> Mayor Roe announced and invited the public to attend the Farewell Ceremony for Fire <br /> Station No. 1 on Thursday, October 27, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at the station located at corner <br /> of Lexington and Woodhill on the City Hall campus. Mayor Roe advised that the com- <br /> munity would gather to celebrate the history of Station No. 1 in the community prior to <br /> its upcoming demolition, with refreshments served. For additional information, Mayor <br /> Roe suggested contacting Fire Chief Tim O'Neill. <br /> Mayor Roe announced upcoming School Board elections on November 8, 2011, for <br /> School Districts 623 and 621; and encouraged residents to vote. <br /> 5. Recognitions,Donations, Communications <br /> a. Proclaim American Indian Month <br /> Mayor Roe read a proclamation declaring November 2011 as National American <br /> Indian Heritage Month. <br /> Pust moved, McGehee seconded, proclaiming November 2011 as National Amer- <br /> ican Indian Heritage Month in Roseville, urging all citizens to join in appreciation <br /> for our rich and diverse community. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee; Willmus; Johnson; Pust; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 6. Approve Minutes <br /> Comments and corrections to draft minutes had been submitted by the City Council prior <br /> to tonight's meeting and those revisions were incorporated into the draft presented in the <br /> Council packet. <br /> a. Approve Minutes of October 17,2011 Meeting <br /> Pust moved, Willmus seconded, approval of the minutes of the October 17, 2011, <br /> meeting as amended and as corrected. <br /> Corrections: <br /> As a bench handout, Councilmember Willmus had submitted additional correc- <br /> tions to pages 14 and 15 of the October 17, 2011, meeting minutes, attached here- <br /> to and made a part hereof <br />
