Mr. Howard Dahlgren
May 29, 1987
Page Four
Comm. No. 87-U1-1033-U1
S IGKAGE
Project signage will conform to the city's sign ordinance and will be designed
consistent with the character of each buildings design. Signage may include:
1. Free-standing project identification signs along Snelling Avenue, County
Road C and the Snelling Avenue Frontage Road. These may include a combina-
tion of sign pylons and ground monument signs.
2. Identification signs for each building. These will be located within an
established signband on the face of the building and will be made up of
individual letters.
3. Typical street and traffic signage on the interior streets and parking
areas.
SITE LIGHTING
Site lighting will be accomplished with decorative type light standards around
the perimeter and within the parking areas and drives. The standards will have
shoe-box type fixtures which direct the lighting towards specific areas. This
type of fixture minimizes glare and light spillover to adjacent properties.
Site lighting may also include ground 'lighting to accent landscaping on areas
of the building.
CONCLUSION
The proposed Planned Unit Development is consistent with the Goals and General
Policies of the City of Roseville to provide more intensive development through
efficient use of the land. The proposed P.U.D. has been planned to provide an
aesthetic visual identity by creating architecturally compatible building
forms, quality building materials, landscaping and site lighting. The proposed
P.U.D. complements adjacent uses and provides a focus for this important inter-
section in the City of Roseville.
We are very excited by the opportunity to be involved with the development of
this area in Roseville and are confident that this P.U.D. will be a valued
addition to the City. We have worked with the City Staff for several months in
the planning of this project and will continue to do so as any refinements may
be made.
If you should have any questions regarding this submittal, please feel free to
contact us.
Sincerely,
KOR UNSKY KRANK, ERICKSON ARCHITECTS, INC.
Thomas E.
