Attachment A <br /> 2 CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> 3 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> 4 CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> 5 <br /> 6 <br /> 7 THIS IS AN AGREEMENT entered into the 1 st day of January, 2012 by and <br /> 8 between the City of Roseville, Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as the City, and Tokle <br /> 9 Inspections Incorporated, a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State <br /> 10 of Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as the Consultant. <br /> 11 <br /> 12 WHEREAS, the City desires to hire the Consultant to render certain technical and <br /> 13 professional assistance in connection with such undertakings of the City in regard to City <br /> 14 electrical and permits within the corporate limits; said services are: <br /> 15 <br /> 16 1. Electrical inspection services based on Minnesota State Building Code; <br /> 17 and <br /> 18 2. Other inspection services as needed. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto do mutually agree as follows: <br /> 21 <br /> 22 1. Scope of Service. The Consultant shall perform all the necessary <br /> 23 professional services provided under this agreement as follows: <br /> 24 <br /> 25 a. Review electrical plans for sites and buildings; <br /> 26 b. Provide all required on-site electrical inspection services in relation to <br /> 27 each electrical permit; <br /> 28 c. Retain all pertinent records and copies of permits and correspondence <br /> 29 related to each permit and make them available to the City upon <br /> 30 request; <br /> 31 d. Have open office hours each business day during which the property <br /> 32 owners and staff may work with the inspectors; <br /> 33 e. Coordinate work (as necessary) with inspection work of the City <br /> 34 through the Building Permits Coordinator. <br /> 35 f. Provide an annual report summarizing permit activity. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 2. Term. The inspection agreement shall be effective upon the approval date <br /> 38 of the City Council and continue through the last day of the calendar year <br /> 39 or until terminated by either party upon a 30-day written notice thereof, <br /> 40 whichever is less. <br /> 41 <br /> 42 3. Compensation. The fees for the Consultant services shall be based on <br /> 43 eighty percent (80%) of the permit fees as shown in Exhibit A (attached) <br /> 44 within 30 days following receipt of a monthly invoice for services <br /> 45 performed. <br /> 46 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br />
