<br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a pUblic <br />hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No. <br />P-ss-w-86-30 consisting of the installation of bituminous paving, <br />concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sewer repair, utility ser- <br />vices, drainage and necessary appurtenances on all that property <br />abutting Western Avenue from County Road C to South Owasso <br />Boulevard as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost pre- <br />sently estimated at $779,298.99, and sUbstantially in accordance <br />with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which <br />is now of file in the office of the City Manager; and having con- <br />sidered the views of all interest persons and being fully advised <br />in the premises, the Council does hereby determine and order that <br />said improvement shall be financed and constructed in accordance <br />with alternative 2 presented in the feasibility report, including <br />a 34 foot wide road, except that it shall include a 6 foot wide <br />concrete non-motorized pathway located east of Western Avenue <br />rather than the 8 foot wide pathway specified in that alter- <br />native. The City Public Works Director is directed to prepare <br />and submit to the Council the final plans and specifications. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br />duly seconded by Councilmember Kehr and upon roll call vote being <br /> <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmembers Kehr, Matson and Johnson; and the following voted <br /> <br />against the same: Councilmember Cushman; whereupon said resolu- <br /> <br />tion was declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />-2- <br />
