The advertisement for <br /> <br />1987 Contract I shall be published as required by law, shall spe- <br /> <br />cify the work to be done, shall call for bids on the basis of <br /> <br />cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be <br /> <br />received by the City Manager and Public Works Director until <br /> <br />9:30 o'clock a.m. on April 23, 1987, at which time they will be <br /> <br />publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Manager and City <br /> <br />Public Works Director, will then be tabulated, and will sub- <br /> <br /> <br />sequently be considered by the Council; and that no bids will be <br /> <br /> <br />considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accom- <br /> <br />panied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to <br /> <br />the Manager for ten percent of the amount of such bid. <br /> <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br />duly seconded by Councilmember Matson and upon vote being taken <br /> <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present; and <br /> <br />the following voted against: None; whereupon said resolution was <br /> <br />declared duly passed and adopted. <br /> <br />-6- <br />
