Attachment A I EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING 2 OF THE 3 CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE 4 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville,, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on 14th day of February, 2011, at 6.-00 p.m. The following members were present and the following members were absent Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption.- RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR DALE STREET BETWEEN COUNTY ROAD C AND S. OWASSO BLVD WHEREAS,, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council, the City Engineer has prepared plans and specifications for City Project No. M -11 -0 , Dale Street Reconstruction,, between County Road C and S. Owasso Boulevard THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota.- 1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The City Manager shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the Roseville Review, the official newspaper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement for bids for City Project P -11 -0 , Dale Street,, shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call the bids on the basis of cash payment for such work, shall state the date and time that the bids will be received by the City Manager and City Engineer at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Engineer and subsequently be considered by the Council; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Manager and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the City of Roseville for ten percent of the amount of such bid. The motion was duly seconded by Member and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof and the following voted against WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
